HOW TO ONBOARD A PATIENT

Onboarding a patient can be done in one of three ways:

Web Workflow

Navigate the patient registration web workflow on your desktop computer and walk through it with the patient if you prefer to use a computer to type in all of their information. That URL can be found in the informational email that was sent to you when your account was first created. If you are unable to find it please reach out to our support team.

Scanning a Drivers License

    • In the mobile application, you'll start by tapping on Administer Test.

    • If the patient has a driver's license, you can scan the back of it using the "Search by test subject ID" button, which is the same one you use to search for a patient's QR code.

      • If the patient has never been seen before, the application will notify you that the patient was not found and will ask you to create a new patient.

      • Most of the information required will be populated automatically by scanning the license. You'll need to fill in the race & ethnicity fields.

      • Finally, tap on Create New Test Subject.

Manual Entry

If either of these methods are not working for you, or the patient doesn't have a driver's license, you can use the "Add new test subject" button to create the patient manually.

  • First, you can enter a Primary ID and Secondary ID. These are optional fields and could be used to add in a driver's license number, passport number, or other ID number that you might want to keep track of.

  • Next, enter in the patient's Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Race, Ethnicity, and Address.

  • Optionally, you can provide their email or their phone number.

  • When you're done, tap on Create New Test Subject.

The patient will be asked to consent to testing, and then you'll proceed as you normally do by collecting the test kit information.
